The Book Gif Tag!

Wow, so... It's been awhile. Didn't mean to disappear on you guys! I'm super excited to be back and will be reviewing some books in the near future, but I probably won't be posting as often as I used to, at least not at first. Anyway, I was tagged by the amazingly awesome Nitzan at The Book Babe's Reads to do a Book Gif tag. So here we go!

1. Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder

At first I was all...

but then, by the time I got to the third book, I was like...

I'm probably going to read Shadow Study, the first book in a new series about Yelena and Valek Maria has coming out though because let's face it: the series was awesome, even if I got a little winded in book 3.

2. Cinder by Marissa Meyer

I've wanted to read this one for a long time now. I even have 2 books in the series. Haven't gotten to them yet, but I'm very excited to!

3. Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones

I didn't even know this was a thing...

4. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

I think that about sums it up.

So many conflicting feelings about Twilight. The first time I read it I was sort of like...

this is the best thing ever! But then the world's hate for it gets to you and you start re-examining your love for it.

And you see all these faults that you were blinded to the first time around. Yeah, it's not a perfect story, but when you're in the middle of it it's sort of magical.

I own this, but have not read it yet, because basically this...

7. This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales

I own this one too and haven't read it either! The hardcover is super pretty and I've been tempted to pet it a few times though.

8. The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

I'm going to admit, I can't even get past the synopsis of this one without getting totally confused.

It's been awhile since I read Ruby Red, but I remember loving it!

10. Being Jamie Baker by Kelly Oram

Being Jamie Baker was my first taste of Kelly Oram's amazingness and it was brilliant and just so...

Thanks Nitzan! This tag was so much fun and I'd definitely love to do it again! I might just start including gifs in my reviews after this  :)

  2. Oh yay!! I've been looking forward to this and it's effing perfect!
The only thing I might not be in agreement with you is Study series - I loved it from beginning to end, but I'm glad you think the series overall is pretty awesome!
Howl's Moving Castle is totally a thing, and YOU NEED TO READ IT JESSE!
You captured my feelings for Twilight to the dot. You are perfect.
The Raven Boys is awesome! It's one of these books/series you can't really explain, because it sounds so effing confusing when you try to, but it's really great and super fun! It's got a dream like quality :)
And basically, everything you haven't read here... you need to!

This was so much fun to go through, and I hope you'll start using gifs! I may have gotten a bit addicted to them over the course of 2014 lol

  3. I disappeared from blogging for a while too! No worries. Life tends to get crazy at some points and it makes it harder to read. This is a really fun post! Love all the gifs. Especially the ones from Bones because well I love that show! ;) The Fault In Our Stars gifs are perfect! Okay I take that back The Raven boys gifs are perfect. I feel ya! I tried to read that book but got so confused. I think eventually I will go back to it cause I really want to try and get through it. So many people love it, but it was so confusing.
