Teaser Tuesday (75): Breakable by Tammara Webber

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

This week's teaser is from Breakable by Tammara Webber and I'm just going to tell you right now, buy this novel. Even if you haven't read Webber's Easy yet, it doesn't matter. Lucas's story is all his own. No boring retelling of Jackie's story, Breakable does tell how they met and fell in love, but it's so much more, because Lucas is so much more. Webber just showed us the tip of the iceberg in Easy.

I had become Harry Potter. Except I was thirteen and not magic, and my destiny, whatever it was, held no profound purpose.

Synopsis of Breakable:

He was lost and alone. Then he found her.
And the future seemed more fragile than ever.

As a child, Landon Lucas Maxfield believed his life was perfect and looked forward to a future filled with promise — until tragedy tore his family apart and made him doubt everything he ever believed.

All he wanted was to leave the past behind. When he met Jacqueline Wallace, his desire to be everything she needed came so easy…

As easy as it could be for a man who learned that the soul is breakable and that everything you hoped for could be ripped away in a heartbeat.

  1. Landon is my favorite guy name ever!!! I've never seen another character with that name aside from A Walk to Remember. You don't know how excited this makes me, haha. Is this YA or NA?

    1. It's NA. It's the companion novel to Easy by Tammara Webber, but you don't have to have read the first book to understand this one.

  2. I really loved Easy by Tammara Webber! I am so excited to read this one. I haven't read all that much NA recently and I really have loved what I have read of the NA genre. So I'm in need of some NA. Love that teaser can't wait to buy a copy of this one. :)
