Cover Reveal: The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead

Just AHHHH! The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead had it's cover reveal today and it is so freaking pretty! Here's a (mostly) spolier free synopsis:

In The Indigo Spell, Sydney was torn between the Alchemist way of life and what her heart and gut were telling her to do. And in one breathtaking moment that Richelle Mead fans will never forget, she made a decision that shocked even her. . . .

But the struggle isn't over for Sydney. As she navigates the aftermath of her life-changing decision, she still finds herself pulled in too many directions at once. Her sister Zoe has arrived, and while Sydney longs to grow closer to her, there's still so much she must keep secret. Working with Marcus has changed the way she views the Alchemists, and Sydney must tread a careful path as she harnesses her profound magical ability to undermine the way of life she was raised to defend. Consumed by passion and vengeance, Sydney struggles to keep her secret life under wraps as the threat of exposure—and re-education—looms larger than ever.

Pulses will race throughout this thrilling fourth installment in the New York Times bestselling Bloodlines series, where no secret is safe.

I love this cover. It makes me laugh every time I look at it because the model portraying Sydney looks SO pissed. I find it hilarious. Especially after reading The Indigo Spell, she sort of has her reasons for looking exasperated. I wouldn't be surprised if someone at Razorbill changes her picture on the cover before November, but hopefully not. Plus Adrian FINALLY gets his whole face on a cover! Yay! Can't wait for November to get here!

What do you think of the cover?

  1. DUDE! This cover is so...FIERY! (See what I did there? ;P)

I haven't read the Bloodlines OR Vampire Academy series yet (I know! I need to get on that, like, NOW) but this cover almost makes me want to start it up immediately! I'm mainly putting it off because when I tried to start VA it kind of was a bit boring so I was like "Mehhh" and then stopped reading, but maybe I'll pick it up in time for the movie's release ;)

    Thanks for sharing!

    1. What's funny is I did the same exact thing! I started VA and never even got passed the first chapter. Mehhh didn't even cover it. But my sister was nuts over it so I picked it up again and I'm so glad I did. It gets better as the series goes, but the real amazingness doesn't begin until Bloodlines starts. (As you can tell I'm pretty in love with that series ;)

  2. This isn't my favourite cover for the Bloodlines series. I don't know, it's just ok. I understand the colouring obviously and the flowers appear on every cover (different but there all the same). It's just the couple facing that way isn't really the best for me. The Indigo Spell is my favourite. Love the colouring and everything. Sorry to disagree with everyone :) Jesse. Thanks for sharing.

    Katie ~ Turner’s Antics

    1. I actually totally agree with you, Katie. This is probably my least favorite, though I do still love it. But that's mostly because I think the model's expression is funny. (Probably not the best reason to like a book cover, huh?) The Indigo Spell is still my absolute favorite cover (the blue is just SO pretty), but I do like the model's positioning on this one. The way they're sort of standing with one another. It reflects their relationship in a way. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it... :)

  3. I'm not sure what to think of this cover. I really like the colors and the position of the model playing Sydney but I think the model for Adrian seems old.
I'll still read the book regardless of how I feel about the cover.

  4. I enjoyed the Vampire academy Series and find I like these even better. I am looking forward to the next one in the series coming out!

We love to read them. :)
