Today we're excited to help reveal the cover of Awakening (Tankborn #2) by Karen Sandler. I reviewed Tankborn back in September 2011 and I really enjoyed it! It was a great sci-fi fantasy with a great message about judging people based on their differences. I can't wait for the sequel to be released this April so I can become emerged in the incredibly complex world Loka once again! There's no synopsis yet, but the cover definitely tells a lot about how this sequel will be different from the first book.
This cover is much grittier than the cover of Tankborn. I love the graffiti. If you've read Tankborn then you know that on Loka things like freedom, humanity, and equality don't exist. So it's very telling that they are on the cover of Awakening. There's most definitely going to be some sort of rebellion in this one!
