By now, you should have a bit of an inkling as to how these posts work. Basically we answer a bunch of questions asked by these lovely bloggers:
* Rachel, from Parajunkee's View & Alison, from Alison Can Read, who host Feature, and Follow Friday. Then, when that's done, we hop about to other blogs that are participating, see what they have to say, leave them a lovely little comment. That's it! Simple, easy, and hoptastically fun.
* Jennifer, from Crazy For Books, who hosts the Book Blogger Hop.
* And Ginger, from GReads!, who hosts TGIF.
So, without further ado:
Jesse: This is a tough question for me because I don't really relate to most superheroes. But if I had to choose one it would probably be Iron Man (the Robert Downey Jr. version, of course). He's not quite my alter-ego, but I'd still love to be him. (Or know him. Tony Stark or RDJ!) Tony Stark is the ultimate playboy billionaire, what's not to envy? He has anything he could ever want, he gets to fly around in that awesome suit, and to top it all off he's a freaking genius! Yeah. I'd be him in a heartbeat.
What superhero is your alter-ego?
Kira: Hmmm...I'm with Jess, tough question. When I was younger, I was a major fan of Rouge from the X-Men cartoon. She could fly (which any kid would think was awesome), she was (mostly) a fellow ginger, and I liked her attitude. She didn't take crap from anyone (which, from a shy kid's perspective, was pretty admirable). Also, she had the cool ability to "borrow" other mutants' powers -- of course, with the unfortunate draw back of not really being able to touch anybody like a normal person would. Still, I found her to be the coolest superhero out there until Peter Petrelli came around. I still love her, don't get me wrong, and I know her inability to casually touch people is part of what made her who she was, but now I'm constantly faced with the fact that my favorite superhero got the short end of the stick, and that's just not cool (though I do love Peter Petrelli, so I can't hold it against him).
What is your favorite type of candy?
Kira: I suppose you could consider me a candy snob. See, my favorite candy is not the type that you could find in your Halloween bag (though I do love me some Halloween candy). No, of course, my favorite candy is a tie between these two more-expensive-than-most gems from Ferrero:
'Course, had you asked me my favorite HALLOWEEN candy, that would have been a different story: SKULL POPS! (Haven't seen any in years, which makes me sad.)
Book Blogs That Make You Smile:
Pick 5 book blogs you visit often & think others should, too.
We decided to do this one collectively, as other wise this post could get a LOT longer than it already is. That being said, here are 5 book blogs that we all here at Pretty in Fiction love (because they are awesome). You can access each of these blogs by clicking the link under their buttons.
|Confessions of a Bookaholic|
Jessica's blog is one of those we've loved pretty much since we started blogging, ourselves. Hers is one of those we can only aspire to be as good as one of these days. Her reviews are insightful, honest, and weel written, which is always nice when looking for something new to read. Also, her blog is easy to navigate around.

It's true we found and fell in love with Missie because of her genius idea to allow us some time each weak to publicly spew our fan-girl crazy over the book boys we all know and love (which reminds us, we busy bees have missed the past two weeks. Must choose someone uberly drool-worthy next week to make up for lost time...) BUT, we stayed with Missie and her blog (well, for the boys, of course, but also) because her blog is just plain fun. Her personality just jumps off the screen when you're reading, which is awesome. Oh, and her blog is cute (we're suckers for cute).
It's no lie that we're fans of pretty things. After all, our blog is called Pretty in Fiction. It should be no surprise, therefore, that some of our favorite blogs we fell in love with originally because they are, in fact, very pretty (who doesn't love to visit a pretty blog every now and again?).
With these next two blogs, that is what initially drew us to them. The fact that their authors are awesome at what they do, and that their blogs are fun to follow were just bonus.

Andra's is another of those blogs we know and love (and think is very cute). I believe we found her though one of these hops (or maybe it was Missie's My Book Boyfriend). Either way, after just reading a few of her posts, it's not hard to tell that Andra is good at what she does, and that she enjoys doing it. If you haven't yet definitely give her blog a look. You won't regret it!
Hell, you won't regret giving any of these blogs a look, really. We're still a baby blog, so we might as well be the kid sister blog trying to be each of these wonderful sites. If you like us you will definitely like them!
